How it works

Step 1. Candidate or Employee Contact Details

Provide the candidate or employee contact details via an ATS Integration (API), CSV or data entered directly into Checkmate's portal.

Step 2. Consent & QR Pass

Checkmate will connect with the participant via email and SMS and provide a secure link.  Participants then upload a copy of their identification (if requested), vaccination pass QR code, and provide their consent for the verification process.

Step 3. Verification Process

With a direct API integration with the NZVP (Vaccine Pass), Checkmate will verify that the COVID Pass provided is valid.

Step 4. Reports, Records & Notifications

A record of the verification will be stored by Checkmate. Any failed verifications will generate a notification and any overdue will trigger various automated follow ups and reminders.

Reporting will be available in real time including total number of vaccinated, unverified, pending - so you're across it at all times, with just a click.

How is employee and candidate information managed and secured?

1. Checkmate is ISO27001 (Information Security) Certified and is subject to an annual external audit and commission external penetration tests every 6 months. Checkmate is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

2. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

3. Two Factor Authentication is standard on all Checkmate accounts.

4. No human comes into contact with any candidate data during the verification process.

5. All candidate personal information is automatically deleted after the expiry date.

6. Checkmate has performed an independent privacy impact assessment.
